Tata Power reports PAT for Q1 of FY 2025-26 

Tata Power has reported profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 12.62 billion, which is a  6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in the first quarter (Q1) ended on June 30, 2025. The company’s revenue recorded a 4 per cent YoY increase and stood at Rs 174.64 billion, while the EBITDA was Rs 39.3 billion.

The company’s renewables business PAT grew to Rs 5.31 billion. Furthermore, it commissioned 94 MW of renewable energy capacity in Q1 of the financial year (FY) 2025-26, and its total operational renewable capacity is at 5.6 GW. The company plans to add 1.6 GW during the next three quarters of FY 2025-26.

Additionally, the company achieved rooftop solar installation of 270 MWp in Q1 of FY 2025-26. The total installations were above 0.2 million, and the cumulative capacity was above 3.4 GWp. It also sold 107 MW of modules and 54 MW of cells to third parties in Q1 of FY 2025-26.

Earlier in April 2025, Tata Power received approval from the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission to install a 100 MW battery energy storage system across Mumbai within the next two years.
