Madhya Pradesh invites bids for 100 MW solar project 

Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam has issued a request for proposal for the development of a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project. The project will be developed under captive mode in the Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. 

The scope of work required for this project includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects. Beyond this, the work also involves providing operation and maintenance services for 25 years. The bidders are required to furnish an earnest deposit of Rs 5 million and a tender fee of Rs 0.05 million. Furthermore,  chosen bidders are required to acquire any private land parcel within the identified revenue land to make it contiguous. The last date for bid submission is August 22, 2025. 

The project’s solar modules and cells must comply with the list I and II of approved list of models and the manufacturers. According to the eligibility criteria, bidders must have, within the last seven years, completed and operationalised either grid-connected ground-mounted solar projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 25 MW or a single grid-connected ground-mounted solar project with an individual capacity of at least 10 MW. The bidders must also have a net worth of Rs 600 million.
