Rezolv Energy has inked incremental project finance facilities of up to €331 million through its project subsidiary First Look Solutions S.R.L.. The financing is to support construction of the 269 MW second phase of its VIFOR wind farm. The wind farm is situated in Buzău County, Romania.
Further, phase 2 will take the project to its full capacity of 461 MW and will be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2027. VIFOR Phase 2 is followed by the first phase of the project. Phase 1 is currently under construction and will install 30 turbines of 6.4 MW each while Phase 2 will add 42 turbines.
Additionally, financing of the second phase is supported by lenders from the first phase. The lenders include Erste Group and UniCredit Group, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, Intesa Sanpaolo Group and OTP Bank, and Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien.
