CleanMax and Toyota Tsusho India Private Limited (TTIPL) have entered a long-term partnership to jointly cater to the clean energy needs of Japanese corporations operating in India. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy by leveraging CleanMax’s execution experience and TTIPL’s network across industrial corridors.
The newly formed entity will develop and operate 300 MW of renewable energy projects by March 2028. These projects will serve Japanese companies through long-term corporate power purchase agreements. Solutions will include rooftop solar systems, standalone ground-mounted solar or wind projects, wind-solar hybrid projects, and carbon credit offerings, tailored to individual corporate requirements.
In April 2025, CleanMax commissioned a 92.1 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Bengaluru, Karnataka, comprising 69 MWp of solar and 23.1 MW of wind capacity, to supply over 90 per cent of Cisco’s electricity demand in the state.
