Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised a solar power project with capacity of 187.5 MW at Khavda, Gujarat, through its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited. This new capacity has increased the company’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 14,528.4 MW.
Additionally, AGEL has also approved the conversion of 1,884,671 warrants into an equal number of equity shares. These warrants were issued to Ardour Investment Holding, a member of the company’s promoter group, at an issue price of Rs 1,480.75 each, which includes a premium of Rs 1,470.75 per warrant. The conversion followed the receipt of the balance subscription amount of Rs 1,110.56 per warrant, representing 75 per cent of the issue price, aggregating to approximately Rs 2.09 billion.
Earlier this month, AGEL commissioned a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, raising its total operational renewable energy capacity to 14,340.9 MW.
