Sungrow bags 835 MW inverter supply order from Juniper Green Energy

Sungrow has secured a contract to supply 835 MW of high-efficiency photovoltaic inverters to Juniper Green Energy Limited. The deployment includes SG320HX-20 string inverters with 300 kW capacity and SG4400UD-20 central inverters with 4.4 MW capacity. These systems feature multiple maximum power point tracking capabilities and up to 99 per cent efficiency, enabling high performance under varying conditions.

Additionally, the central inverters are designed to maintain full output in extreme temperatures of up to 51°C, making them suitable for India’s climate. The inverters will be installed at solar project sites in Chappalgaon, Karanja, and Jalkot in Maharashtra, as well as at Fatehgarh and Bhadla in Rajasthan. These locations were selected to optimise solar energy capture and support efficient integration into the national renewable energy grid.

In December 2024, Sungrow signed a supply and services agreement with Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation to deliver 1.5 GWh of battery energy storage systems and support project engineering and construction using its Power Titan series for integration with CREC’s solar facilities.
