Israel to develop masterplan for national green hydrogen pipeline network

Israel is set to create a detailed blueprint for a nationwide green hydrogen pipeline system following the National Planning and Building Council’s approval. This initiative is part of broader government efforts to cut emissions and enhance the country’s energy security.

The proposed pipeline could span several hundred kilometers, running from northern to southern Israel. It aims to harness excess renewable energy to produce green hydrogen, which would be distributed to industrial zones and support grid stability.

Additionally, the government intends to establish a hydrogen valley in southern Israel. This hub will focus on green hydrogen production, equipment manufacturing, and its application across transport, industry, and power generation.
