Husk has launched BEEM, a residential rooftop solar platform aimed at the specific needs of homeowners. The platform allows homeowners to access generation data and receive long-term quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle. It also offers AI-enabled digital services for a fully online and remote customer experience, including system sizing, product finalisation, and installation booking.
The two available product lines under BEEM, Aura and Eternia, are designed for flat rooftops, which are common in Indian homes. Additionally, BEEM also facilitates low-cost financing and handles processes related to subsidy claims and net metering through its network of partners.
BEEM will initially focus on Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, and aims to scale rapidly by offering structured solar solutions tailored to residential needs. Furthermore, Husk plans to leverage the platform to evolve India’s distributed energy sector into virtual power plants, thereby decentralising energy production and trading, and placing control in the hands of consumers.
