Arevon Energy begins construction of 430 MWdc Kelso solar projects in Missouri

Arevon Energy has commenced construction on its Kelso 1 and Kelso 2 solar power projects, with a combined capacity of 430 MWdc, located in Scott County, Missouri. The projects mark Arevon’s entry into the utility-scale renewable energy sector in the state. The company will own and operate the projects over the long term.

The first phase is slated to begin commercial operations by end 2025, while the second phase is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2026. Primoris Services Corporation’s Renewable Energy has been engaged in the construction for both phases of the project. Furthermore, the total investment in Kelso Solar exceeds $500 million.

Over its operational life, the Kelso Solar project is projected to contribute over $34 million to local governments. These funds are expected to support schools, infrastructure development, and public safety services in the area.
