Gotion High Tech has launched its latest generation of lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage solutions for utility-scale applications, along with high-capacity battery cells. The newly launched 20-foot container system reportedly offers 40 per cent higher energy capacity while occupying 40 per cent less space than a conventional 5 MWh system. It features advanced 587 Ah battery cells with an energy density exceeding 430 Wh per litre. A single battery cell has a capacity of 1.87 kWh. It has demonstrated a cycle life of more than 12,000 cycles with a projected lifespan of more than 25 years.
