AEP and IFC join forces for Štip wind farm in North Macedonia

Alcazar Energy Partners (AEP) has inked a development support agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to advance the development of the Štip wind farm in North Macedonia. Under this agreement, AEP will get access to development assistance funding for Phase I of the Štip wind farm. Phase I of the project is expected to commence construction later in 2025. 

Furthermore, once all phases of the wind farm are complete, it will have a total installed capacity of approximately 400 MW. The total investment in the project is expected to be €500 million. It will also provide clean, reliable power to over 100,000 households in North Macedonia.
