GreenYellow, STOA, and DEG achieve closing of YieldCo

GreenYellow, along with STOA and DEG, has achieved the financial close of a 189 MWp asset platform, YieldCo. YieldCo is a Singapore-based asset platform dedicated to operating self-consumption solar assets in Vietnam and Thailand.

Furthermore, GreenYellow will continue to be the majority industrial shareholder with 51 per cent share in the asset platform. STOA and DEG together own 49 per cent stake in the asset platform, with STOA owning 29.7 per cent and DEG holding 19.3 per cent. Additionally, the platform is expected to reach 400 MWp by the end of 2026.

Earlier in July 2024, GreenYellow partnered with Carrefour to install 350 MW of solar power in France by 2027. The two companies inked a 20-year contract which allows Carrefour to solarise 350 stores and hypermarkets and use the power generated for its own use.
