Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, has received land allotment from the Odisha government in Dhenkanal district for establishing a 4.8 GW solar cell and 4.8 GW solar module manufacturing plant. The estimated investment for this facility is Rs 40 billion. The project was approved by the High-Level Clearance Authority of Odisha.
The project is expected to generate over 3,400 jobs. It is being developed as a part of the company’s expansion plans as well as the aim of strengthening India’s green energy manufacturing ecosystem.
In March 2025, Inox Wind Limited, also a part of the INOXGFL Group, secured an order from a global clean energy company to supply 51 wind turbines (3 MW each) totaling 153 MW in Tamil Nadu, along with limited engineering, procurement and construction work and multi-year operation and maintenance services.
