Celepsa and Zelestra ink PPA for 238 MWdc solar project in Peru

Celepsa and Zelestra have inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) that guarantees the supply of renewable energy for Celepsa’s operations in Peru. The PPA will allow Celepsa to receive 450 GWh of renewable energy annually for its operations.

Furthermore, under this agreement, Zelestra will build a 238 MWdc solar project in Peru. The new projects, along with the San Martín project, will increase Zelestra’s contracted portfolio to over 530 MWdc in Peru.

In March 2025, Zelestra and Abastible inked a long-term PPA for the sale of electricity from 100 per cent renewable sources. Under this agreement, the companies will utilise a tailor-made energy solution that consists of a 220 MWdc solar PV plant and a 1 GWh battery energy storage system.
