VSL Renewable Services has been awarded a three-year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract for Andhra Pradesh Generation Company Limited’s (APGENCO) 527 MWp solar power plant in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh. The agreement focuses on optimising plant performance, enhancing energy output, and ensuring long-term operational sustainability.
The contract covers multiple aspects of plant management, including continuous monitoring, predictive maintenance, and efficient scheduling to align production with grid demand. Additionally, a generation-linked guarantee ensures that the plant meets predefined energy targets, providing APGENCO with predictable financial returns. The agreement also includes an insurance framework to mitigate risks from natural disasters and equipment failures, alongside security measures to protect infrastructure and personnel.
This collaboration is expected to enhance the long-term reliability of the Tadipatri solar power plant while reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to renewable energy expansion. Moreover, by implementing advanced O&M practices, the plant’s lifespan and efficiency are set to improve, ensuring stable power generation and financial sustainability.
