Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has been awarded a letter of award (LoA) for the development of a ground-mounted solar power project with an installed capacity of 170 MW AC/255 MW DC. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services along with long-term operation and maintenance.
The project has been valued at approximately Rs 2.32 billion. Additionally, it is projected to cut an estimated 225,000 metric tonnes of carbon emissions annually, which is equivalent to removing nearly 50,000 fossil fuel-powered vehicles from the roads each year.
In February 2025, WRTL secured an LoA from Continuum Green Energy Limited for a Rs 400 million EPC contract to develop a 40 MWh lithium iron phosphate-based battery energy storage system at wind-solar hybrid sites in Gujarat.
