Datta Power Infra has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with state-owned SJVN to develop a 70 MW wind energy project. This project is part of SJVN’s WIND-1 initiative, which aims to establish 600 MW of inter-state transmission system-connected wind power projects across India.
Datta Power Infra is engaged in the complete development of renewable energy projects, including the construction of transmission lines and substations, as well as undertaking engineering, procurement, and construction work. The company operates across multiple states, including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.
In November 2024, Datta Infra, under its subsidiary Adyant Enersol, secured 70 MW at Rs 3.19 per kWh in SJVN’s auction for 1,200 MW of ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects (Phase III) in India.
