Avaada Group has inaugurated a 1,500 MW solar module manufacturing facility in Dadri, Noida, with a focus on tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) N-type bifacial glass-to-glass modules. The plant features multi-bus bar configurations ranging from 16 to 24 to enhance efficiency. It has the capability to produce both M10 and G12 cells, with an annual capacity of 1,200 MW for M10 and 1,500 MW for G12 modules. Reportedly, the facility is manufacturing 5,800 modules daily.
Additionally, a 5,000 MW solar manufacturing unit is being developed at Ecotech, Greater Noida, spanning 50 acres. This facility will specialise in TOPCon N-Type solar cells. It aims to secure certifications from regulatory bodies such as the Bureau of Indian Standards, the International Electrotechnical Commission, and Underwriters Laboratories.
In February 2025, Avaada Group announced an investment of Rs 500 billion through an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh government to develop 6,000 MW of solar power, 700 MW of wind power, 2,100 MW of battery energy storage systems, and 2,000 MW of pumped storage projects.
