Bridge and Roof Company, a Government of India enterprise, has invited bids for topographical surveys, soil investigation reports, and initial layout preparation for a 100 MW solar project. It is being developed by SJVN Green Energy Limited. The estimated contract value is Rs 1.9 million.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to submit a tender fee of Rs 590 and a money deposit of Rs 10,000. A security deposit of 5 per cent, along with income tax and other statutory deductions, will be applied to each payment made to the contractor. The work must be completed within three months from the issuance of the letter of intent or work order, whichever is earlier. The deadline for bid submission is March 11, 2025.
According to the eligibility criteria, the bidders must have prior experience executing similar projects, with eligibility requiring either three contracts of at least Rs 850,000 each, two contracts of Rs 1 million each, or a single contract valued at a minimum of Rs 1.6 million in the past seven years. They must submit an original notarised copy of the work order or letter of intent, along with a job completion certificate verifying execution or executed value. Additionally, the bidder’s average annual financial turnover over the last three years should not be less than Rs 650,000, with net worth remaining positive during this period.
