KPI Green and Government of Madhya Pradesh ink MoU for 1.8 GW renewable energy projects

KPI Green Energy Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The MoU was signed at the Global Investor Summit 2025 held in Bhopal. The agreement aims to develop 1.8 GW of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hybrid, battery energy storage systems, and biomass-based projects across the state. This partnership underscores KP Group’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions, aligning with national and state-level renewable energy goals.

In December 2024, KPI Green Energy Limited secured Coal India Limited’s auction to develop a 300 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar project at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. 

In October 2024, KPI Green signed two power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for renewable energy projects with a cumulative capacity of 620 MW, securing these projects through a competitive bidding process.
