Avaada Group has announced an investment of Rs 500 billion, formalised through a MoU with the government of Madhya Pradesh (MP), to develop large-scale renewable energy and storage projects in the state. The company plans to establish 6,000 MW of solar power, 700 MW of wind power, 2,100 MW of battery energy storage systems, and 2,000 MW of pumped storage projects.
These projects are expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities across various sectors, including construction, operations, and manufacturing. Additionally, Avaada will also set up green energy equipment manufacturing facilities to support its renewable energy expansion.
In January 2025, Avaada Group completed Rs 1 billion in financing and refinancing for nine projects, covering utility-scale solar, agrivoltaic projects, merchant power generation, commercial and industrial solar projects, and solar module manufacturing facilities.
