Alpex Solar has secured a Rs 450 million order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 2,000 solar-powered water pumps under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump scheme. The solar water pumps will be manufactured at Alpex Solar’s facility in Greater Noida, which has recently expanded to a capacity of 1,200 MW.
In October 2024, Alpex Solar announced a Rs 6.42 billion investment to establish a 1,600 MW solar cell manufacturing plant in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, with phased completion by September 2026.
