Enfinity Global adds 425 MW of BESS projects to its portfolio in US

Enfinity Global has expanded its battery energy storage systems (BESS) portfolio through two new projects in Texas. These projects have a total power capacity of 425 MW. Construction of these projects is expected to commence in the second and fourth quarters of 2025. These new additions will bring the company’s total BESS pipeline in US to 6.6 GW.

Furthermore, these projects have a combined capacity of 850 MWh and a two-hour duration. They are strategically located in ERCOT’s Houston and Dallas zones. Once operational, these projects are expected to enhance ERCOT grid stability and support renewable energy growth. Additionally, these projects will help meet Texas’ rising electricity demand, primarily driven by AI-powered data centers.

Earlier in August 2024, Enfinity Global Enfinity Global secured €500 million to develop 1.5 GW of solar projects in Italy. This funding was secured through an innovative club deal structure involving key investors such as Infranity, Schroders Capital, Rivage, BNP Paribas Asset Management, and Queensland Investment Corporation.
