Bolt.Earth secures $5 million in Series A+ funding round

Bolt.Earth has raised $5 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Version One Ventures, with participation from existing investors USV and Prime Venture Partners. The company plans to utilise the funds to scale operations across India and develop fast charging stations for two-, three-, and four-wheelers.

Bolt.Earth intends to deploy end-to-end EV charging solutions, including hardware, software, and maintenance, catering to apartment complexes, builders, enterprises, and fleets. It is also working on next-generation light electric vehicle direct current controller fast chargers for two-and three-wheelers, as well as DC ultra-fast chargers of up to 240 kW for four-wheelers currently under production.

Bolt.Earth is a Bengaluru-based EV charging solutions provider. The company’s network comprises 36,000 charging stations across 1,600 cities, serving 210,000 active EV users. Operating as a peer-to-peer, distributed charging network, the company caters to 2, 3, & 4W-EVs, accommodating both standard and fast charging requirements.
