Waaree Renewables Technologies Limited (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for a 2,000 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The contract has been secured from Sunbreeze Renewable Nine, a special-purpose vehicle of Jindal Renewables.
The scope of the contract includes designing, engineering, procuring, supplying, constructing, testing, and commissioning the solar project. Additionally, WRTL will oversee the delivery of clean energy to the designated injection point.
In November 2024, WRTL secured a Rs 12,334.7 million order to develop a 2,012.47 MWp DC ground-mounted solar PV project, handling design, engineering, procurement, and installation.
