Solar Landscape has raised $847 million in project investment and financing in 2024. Solar Landscape is a US based commercial and community solar developer. This funding will support the deployment of over 200 rooftop solar installations across the country. Additionally, the company signed contracts for an additional 40 million square feet of commercial and industrial rooftop space for solar project development in 2024.
Furthermore, to raise $847 million, Solar Landscape partnered with 10 investors and counterparties. These include KeyState Renewables, Silicon Valley Bank, Prologis, and Walmart. KeyState Renewables committed $184 million in tax equity, which will fund 101 solar projects with a combined capacity exceeding 100 MW.
Silicon Valley Bank led a $283 million green loan for commercial rooftop solar projects. Prologis partnered with Solar Landscape in September 2024 to develop and finance more than 30 Million square feet of rooftop solar projects. In October 2024 Walmart invested in 74 Solar Landscape commercial rooftop solar projects in Maryland and Illinois that are projected to create 43 MW of solar capacity.
