Huasun bags 1 GW N-type HJT module contract for Power China’s offshore PV projects

Huasun Energy has secured a 1 GW contract to supply n-type heterojunction (HJT) solar modules to Power China’s offshore solar projects. The project will cover Sections 1 and 2 in Aoshan Bay, Jimo District, Qingdao, Shandong Province. Known for its soft soil, the region demands high standards in water resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and stability for solar modules.

Huasun’s G12-132 V-Ocean HJT solar module has a 720 W output. It includes advanced waterproofing with butyl adhesive and junction boxes designed for UV resistance and salt mist protection, ensuring efficient, long-term power generation. The contract strengthens Huasun’s role in large-scale PV projects in China. Additionally, the company will also advance HJT research, supporting net-zero goals with high-efficiency, reliable clean energy solutions.

Earlier this year, Huasun Energy formed a partnership with ITRAMAS Corporation to develop solar projects amounting to 1.5 GW. Beginning in 2025, Huasun will progressively provide ITRAMAS with high-efficiency HJT modules rated at 700 W or more for extensive solar installations.
