Against this background, Delhi Test House has received NABL/BIS approval for testing of solar PV modules, inverters and pumps as per BIS-CRS/BEE Schedule -35/38, PM-KUSUM Yojana and MNRE Guidelines.
Delhi Test House is one of the oldest and pioneer testing and analytical laboratories established in 1975. Its services are accredited/recognised by the international and national competent bodies like National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), MNRE, Export Inspection Council, Ministry of Commerce, BEE, EESL, and various government electricity boards.

The Delhi Test House Photovoltaic Module Laboratory has a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the research, development, and testing of solar PV modules. Equipped with cutting-edge equipment and manned by expert researchers and engineers, the Photovoltaic Module Laboratory is capable of conducting a wide range of tests and analyses on PV modules. These include performance evaluation, durability testing, and characterisation of electrical and thermal properties.
The laboratory’s primary objectives are to:
- Investigate new PV module technologies and materials
- Enhance the efficiency and reliability of existing PV modules
- Develop innovative testing methods and procedures
- Provide education and training in PV technology
The laboratories located at Kundli Branch situated at Plot No.50 and 65, Phase-IV, Sector-57, HSIDC Industrial Estate, Behind Hasija Hospital, Kundli, Sonipat-131028 (Haryana), are equipped and calibrated (as per NABL) with latest equipments including facilities for EMI/EMC, surge upto 20 KV and others. It also has steady state and flash sun simulator catering up to 3.36 M.square panels for both Mono PERC and N-TOPCON samples.
