Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has floated a tender to construct a 10,000 MTPA green hydrogen generation unit and supply green hydrogen in Numaligarh, Assam. The final date to submit the bid is September 13, 2024.
The project will be set up on a build, own and operate basis. The tender encompasses design, detailed engineering, construction of all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation facilities, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance of the generation unit, and supply of green hydrogen in its scope. The winning bidder will have to ensure an independent supply of biomass.
A security fee of Rs 50 million has to be submitted by the bidders. According to the tender guidelines, the bidders should have an average annual turnover of Rs 2 billion in at least one year out of the previous three financial years. Furthermore, consortium of bidders can also apply for this tender.
