The Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) has issued a tender for the supply of modules for a 500 MW solar project in the Rann of Kutch. The final date for bid submissions is September 9, 2024.
The scope of the tender covers manufacturing, testing, supply, packing and forwarding, handling, insurance, and transportation of solar modules. The minimum and maximum module capacity are 540 Wp and 570 Wp, respectively. The bidders have to pay a non-refundable tender fee of Rs 29,500 and Rs 100,000 per MWp as an earnest money deposit.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders should have positive net worth in the previous financial year and a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 5 million per MWp for the preceding three financial years.
In addition, the bidders must be on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
