Fresh Bus, an E-bus start-up has secured Rs 875 million in their Series A funding round. The key investors in this round include Maniv Shell Ventures, Alteria Capital, and Riverwalk Holdings. Riverwalk Holdings is also an existing investor.
The funding will be utilised to add 15 new routes and 150 new electric buses to their fleet. It will also be used to scale up operations and improving technology.
Currently, Fresh Bus is an intercity bus service based in Bengaluru. However, the company plans to expand to all-India operations by 2028-29 and to increase the number of buses to 1,000. This will also create new employment opportunities.
In February 2023, Ixigo had invested Rs 260 million in Fresh Bus as seed funding.
