The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), has issued a tender inviting bids for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of a 3.5 MW rooftop solar project at the Sagardighi thermal power project. The bids must be submitted by September 6, 2024 and will be opened on September 10, 2024.
The cost of the tender is estimated at Rs 5.24 million for two years. All bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 1.04 million. The winning bidder will have to submit additional security amount to the value of 10 per cent of the tender. This will occur only when winning bid value is 80 per cent or less of the estimate put to tender.
The average annual turnover of the bidders for three consecutive years (from 2019 to 2022) should be equal to or more than Rs 786,000 with a positive net worth in each year.
In July 2022, WBPDCL had issued a tender for a three-year comprehensive O&M contract for 1,089 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems.
