Tata Power declares financials of first quarter of FY 2024-25

Tata Power has reported its financial results for the first quarter of financial year 2024-25. The company achieved its highest-ever PAT of Rs 11.89 billion, growing 31 per cent Year-on-Year. The company’s revenue rose 12 per cent YoY to Rs 168.1 billion, and EBITDA grew 11 per cent to Rs 33.5 billion.

The company has a renewable energy installed capacity of 6.1 GW, with an additional 5.3 GW under execution. Its order pipeline for utility-scale EPC and solar rooftop, including group captive, is around Rs 155 billion.

Tata Power is developing the 600 MW Khorlochhu hydropower project in Bhutan and the upcoming 2,800 MW pumped hydro storage plants in Maharashtra for large-scale availability of round-the-clock renewable energy.

In July 2024, Bank of India and Tata Power Solar Systems Limited entered into a partnership to provide easier loans and financing for rooftop solar panel installation and electric vehicle charging station. In June 2024, it had begun its national campaign ‘Ghar Ghar Solar, Tata Power ke Sangh’ from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
