TP Parivart Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has signed a power delivery agreement (PDA) with Tata Steel Limited for a 70 MW group captive solar power plant at Akola, Maharashtra. The project is expected to produce 154 million units of power annually and reduce carbon emissions by 115,000 tonnes.
In July 2024, TPREL signed an MoU with NHPC Renewable Energy Limited for the installation of rooftop solar projects on government buildings across central ministries, states, and union territories. This is in line with the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli scheme.
In December 2023, TPREL had signed a PDA with Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries. It is expected to produce an annual power output of 29.04 MUs.
