Larsen & Toubro (L&T) earned a revenue of Rs 551.2 billion for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25, an year-on-year (YoY) growth of 15 per cent. Total international revenue was Rs 262.48 billion – 48 per cent of the total revenue. Their consolidated profit after tax saw a growth of 12 per cent YoY to reach Rs 27.86 billion. In the energy sector, total revenue was Rs 84.95 exhibiting a 27 per cent YoY growth.
In January 2024, they signed an MoU with HydrogenPro AS to establish a joint venture in India to tap the growing green hydrogen market. Further, in April 2024, they announced a collaboration with IIT Bombay on green hydrogen research and development.
