Sonnedix has entered into two Framework Agreements with Astronergy and Sungrow for the supply of equipment globally. The first agreement involves the supply of 750 MWp of PV modules from Astronergy. The second agreement, signed with Sungrow, covers the supply of 625 MWac of inverters and MV stations. Together, these agreements will ensure the availability of essential solar PV equipment for Sonnedix’s global projects over the next year, streamlining the procurement process.
In February 2024, Sonnedix finalised a €260 million green loan to finance the acquisition and construction of renewable energy projects in Italy. The multi-borrower loan includes greenfield project finance for the construction of two photovoltaic plants located in Sicily and Sardinia with a total capacity of around 200 MW, as well as an acquisition finance line for an operating asset.
