AM Green has secured CertifHy EU RFNBO pre- certification for its green ammonia project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. By 2030, its production capacity will expand from one to five million tonnes per year of green ammonia.
CertifHy, a prominent certification provider for renewable hydrogen and e-fuels, collaborated with Hinicio and Bureau Veritas to conduct the pre-certification process. Hinicio initially conducted a thorough assessment to verify project compliance and formulate a long-term strategy. Following this, Bureau Veritas evaluated the operations of AM Green’s plant according to CertifHy’s EU RFNBO Voluntary Scheme. These collaborative efforts enabled AM Green to obtain pre-certification from CertifHy. AM Green’s RFNBO pre-certification enables the supply of clean energy from India to the EU market.
