Radiance Renewables and InfraCo Asia form a JV to expedite clean energy adoption in India

Radiance Renewables and InfraCo Asia have announced a joint venture (JV) – Radiance InfraCo Renewables. In order to help commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients in India achieve their sustainability objectives, the JV will create a portfolio of greenfield renewable energy projects that will enable them mitigate carbon emissions from their operations and supply chains.

With a 25-year anticipated operating life, Radiance InfraCo Renewables is expected to reduce about 165,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent of greenhouse gas emissions annually. The JV would mainly emphasise on solar projects and evaluate opportunities in wind-solar hybrid projects.

Radiance Renewables has a portfolio of more than 1,000 MW of operating and under-development capacity under its operational expenditure model. The business has 79 C&I consumers, including rooftop/ behind-the-meter consumers from various industries as well as captive and third-party organisations.
