Lodha, a real estate developer in India, announced that it has achieved carbon neutrality in its operations for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions. Over the last five years, Lodha has decreased its scope 1 and 2 emissions by approximately 82 per cent. This reduction was mainly achieved by switching to renewable energy sources for construction activities and owned assets, increasing the share of renewable electricity in its total electricity consumption from less than 1 per cent to around 83 per cent between FY2020 and FY2024.
