Statcon Energiaa has launched the Energiaa-X series single-phase grid-tie inverter, available in 3 kW and 5 kW power ratings. These inverters feature built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology. The 3 kW inverter is designed for a range of applications, including homes, small clinics, gyms, small offices and shops. Its main features include a low current distortion factor, advanced MPPT to increase solar output, wide-range photovoltaic (PV) voltage support, a sophisticated phase-locked loop for seamless grid connection, Wi Fi-enabled remote monitoring, transformerless design, earth fault protection, simple plug-and-play installation, grid and PV-side lightning arrestors, and robust anti-islanding functionality. The 3 kW inverter can manage a maximum DC input voltage of 450 V from solar panels, with a recommended maximum PV input power of 3.3 kW. With an MPPT voltage range of 100-450 V, the 3 kW inverter can produce a maximum output current of 13 A. Its total harmonic distortion is below 3 per cent, and its maximum efficiency reaches 97.5 per cent. The inverter’s dimensions are 282 x 317 x 190 mm, with a ±2 mm margin of error, and it weighs 7.45 kg. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -25 °Celsius to +55 °Celsius.
