Waaree Energies Limited has secured a letter of intent for a 400 MW solar modules supply. The company has received order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited. The contract involves the complete supply of solar photovoltaic modules featuring advanced bifacial technology for the 2,375 MW renewable energy park located near the Khavda village, Gujarat.
Waaree will handle the manufacturing, testing, packaging, and transportation of these solar modules, while complying with established quality standards and aiming for timely project completion. With capacities ranging from 540 Wp to 570 Wp and Approved List of Models and Manufacturers category requirements, each module is anticipated to guarantee peak performance, durability, and efficiency. The purchase of 400 MWp bifacial solar PV modules comes with a requirement for 0.5 per cent spare parts, which equates to 2 MW.
In April 2024, Waaree Energies Limited secured an order for the provision of 245 MW solar photovoltaic modules from Sprng Energy.
