MG Motor India and Epsilon Group sign MoU for EV charging and battery recycling

MG Motor India has collaborated with Epsilon Group for electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and battery recycling. The automaker signed a MoU with Power EV, a branch of Epsilon Group, to collaborate on charging solutions. Additionally, it has entered into an agreement with LICO, another Epsilon Group division, for expertise in battery recycling and second-life applications. For MG Motor electric vehicles, Power EV will offer customised charging options.

MG Motor intends to deploy 1,000 charging points in 1,000 days in residential areas and apartments throughout India as part of its MG Charge program. Power EV will enhance the current public charging infrastructure by expanding the accessibility of AC chargers and bringing in high-capacity DC charging choices.

Recently, in April 2024, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited entered into a MoU with MG Motor India. Through this MoU, the two entities will work together to develop charging solutions for EVs and provide value-added services to MG’s EV customers across the country.
