SJVN Limited has issued a request for proposals for comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of 47.6 MW Khirvire wind project in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The duration of O&M will be five years.
According to the tender guidelines, the tasks encompasses overseeing 56 units of 850 kW wind energy generators, along with their corresponding unit sub-stations, feeder lines, equipment at the pooling sub-station, and all communication devices for supervision and monitoring. The bidders are required to furnish Rs 6.11 million as an earnest money deposit. With 21 days of issuing the letter of award, the developer is required to submit performance bank guarantee eqaquling 5 per cent of the contract value. The bid submission deadline is May 2, 2024.
To be eligible, the bidders are required to have completed a contract for the O&M of wind projects in India, totaling 25 MW or more. These projects must include at least 850 kW each of wind electric generators and should have been maintained for at least one year within the past seven years.
Recently, in April 2024, SJVN Green Energy Limited issued tender to commission a 100 MW solar project in the Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan.
