Waaree Energies Limited has secured an order for the provision of 245 MW solar photovoltaic modules from Sprng Energy. The partnership involves Waaree Energies Limited providing 220 MW of AHNAY series, Bi-55 545 Wp modules, to be used for Sprng’s project in Gujarat.
Sprng Energy Private Limited is an Indian renewable energy platform established in 2017. The company has renewable energy projects distributed throughout the country, with over 4.8 GWp as a total contracted capacity and 2.3 GWp as an operational portfolio.
In January 2023, Sprng Energy won 200 MW at a quote of Rs 2.51 per kWh in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) auction to deliver power from 500 MW of grid-connected solar power projects (Tranche XVIII), with an additional 500 MW greenshoe option.
