Gensol Engineering has declared that it secured engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for two solar projects with a combined capacity of 422.5 MW DC. This awarded capacity encompasses a 250 MW AC (350 MW DC) interstate transmission system connected solar power project in Rajasthan and a 50 MW AC (72.5 MW DC) plant in Maharashtra. The projects have an estimated worth of Rs 3.38 billion. Gensol’s responsibilities entail providing design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services, with modules supplied as free-issue items.
In February 2024, Gensol Engineering Limited successfully secured a substantial Rs 9 billion in equity capital through the issuance of convertible warrants on a preferential basis.
In January 2024, Gensol bagged a Rs 1.5 billion contract from Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited for the deployment of a 50 MW DC (33 MW AC) solar power plant in Chhattisgarh.
In November 2023, Gensol Engineering Limited bagged engineering, procurement and commissioning contract from NHPC Limited for green hydrogen-based mobility station in Kargil, Ladakh.
