AEG has introduced the AS-M1089B-GA(M10)/HV, a new n-type solar module with all-back contact (ABC) cell technology. The solar panel is presently available in three versions with power outputs ranging from 445 W to 455 W. The open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current span from 40.15 V to 40.35 V and 13.68 A to 13.80 A respectively. The power conversion efficiencies range from 22.8 per cent to 23.3 per cent. The panel weighs 24 kg and has dimensions of 1,722 x 1,134 x 30 mm. The product is built using M10 wafers. It is IP68-rated, and has a black anodised aluminium alloy frame and 2.0 mm of glass. It can function in temperatures between -40 and 85 °Celsius, and has a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V. It has a -0.29 per cent per °Celsius temperature coefficient. AEG offers a 40-year product warranty and a 40-year power output guarantee. It is assured that the 40-year end power output will be no less than 83.4 per cent of the nominal output power.
