SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has issued a request for proposals to produce and supply solar modules of DC capacity of 1,960 MWp, for solar projects. The projects will be located throughout India. Projects one and two will possess a capacity of 700 MWdc each, while projects three and four will hold a capacity of 280 MWdc each.

The minimum and maximum capacity allocated to an individual bidder must be 5 MW and 700 MW, respectively. Furthermore, the modules are required to be supplied within 180 days of receiving the award of contract. The bid submission deadline is March 11, 2024.

To be eligible, the bidders are required to demonstrate a history of manufacturing and delivering solar photovoltaic modules with a combined capacity of 30 MW or above in the seven years preceding the month prior to the issuance of the tender. Moreover, within this timeframe, there must be at least one supply order for modules with a capacity of 10 MW or above. The bidders are required to furnish proof of in-house manufacturing capabilities for solar modules, which includes presenting pertinent registration and certification documents.
