Suzlon Group has bagged a 642 MW wind project from Evren. Under this agreement, Suzlon is tasked with the installation and commissioning of 214 wind turbine generators (WTGs) featuring a hybrid lattice tubular tower, each with a rated capacity of 3 MW, in Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, the company will be accountable for operations and maintenance services after commissioning. This project has the potential to supply power to approximately 528,000 households and reduce around 2,087,000 tonnes of emissions per year.
In December 2023, Suzlon Group announced that it secured a 100.8 MW contract from Nordic Energy for its 3 MW WTGs in Karnataka. In the same month, Suzlon Group secured a contract for setting up 193.2 MW wind project. This project is a part of KP Group’s wind-solar hybrid and tariff-based project. In September 2023, Suzlon Group secured a contract from Bright Night for setting up 29.4 MW wind capacity at Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
