NGEL, GSPC, and GPPL sign MoU for green hydrogen blending

During the three-day Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit held at Gandhinagar, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has signed MoUs with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), and Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited (GPPL).

The MoU with GSPC aims to incorporate green hydrogen into GSPC’s gas networks and facilitate its use in transportation through the establishment of fueling stations for green hydrogen in Gujarat. While, the MoU with GPPL is focused on creating a green hydrogen ecosystem, which involves producing green ammonia on the land allocated by GPPL for both domestic and international markets. Additionally, the agreement aims to investigate the potential of using Pipavav Port as a central port for NGEL to explore, develop, and operate offshore wind farms in Gujarat.
