Juniper Green Energy and government of Gujarat have signed an MoU to set up 1,000 MW of wind and solar projects within the state, involving a significant investment of Rs 80 billion.
Juniper Green Energy, a private renewable energy power producer, manages and operates projects involving solar, wind, and hybrid power. Currently, it oversees an approximately 800 MW operational portfolio, has a 435 MW under-construction capacity, and possesses a development pipeline exceeding 3,000 MW for solar, wind, and hybrid projects.
In September 2023, Juniper Green Energy bagged $350 million from AT Capital Group and Vitol to assist in its operational capacity expansion.
In July 2023, at the 14th Clean Energy Ministerial meeting, Juniper Green Energy and Power Finance Corporation Limited signed an MoU for Rs 50 billion to support 1,200 MW of renewable energy projects.
